Gabrielle Union recalls being threatened by Neo-Nazis after visiting Croatian bar back in 2019

Flawless co-founder Gabrielle Union emerged from The Carlyle in Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Tuesday looking gorgeous in a patterned PVC pencil dress, black platforms, and a green bag. 

The Nebraska-born 47-year-old was ready to kick off her nine-date You Got Anything Stronger book tour with a reading and Q&A at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.

Gabrielle’s $22.39 256-page second memoir just hit shelves on Tuesday.

The L.A.’s Finest producer-star was in Dubrovnik promoting her Spectrum series alongside castmate Jessica Alba during the New Europe Market at the Palace Hotel.

At the time, Gabrielle gushed about Croatia to Dnevnik.hr: ‘Beautiful! Absolutely stunning country, amazing food, beautiful people! Also, I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan, so to walk around King’s Landing made my “fangirl” go nuts. But it was beautiful!’

The UCLA grad said the menacing group followed them down the street when they left what she had initially believed was a gay bar.

‘I’ve never experienced that level of hatred and the threat of physical violence,’ Gabrielle told People on Tuesday.

Gabrielle told People on Tuesday: 'I've never experienced that level of hatred and the threat of physical violence. It was such a jolt. And the fear and adrenaline of what happened left us all numb' (posted Tuesday)

Union continued: ‘There are microaggressions and there are all out assaults. That’s what it is to be a person of color in this country. We think we’re post racial but we’re not. And that is beyond disappointing.

‘I don’t think people understand the violence that comes with racism, whether it’s if you’re being chased or you’re having to watch someone wear blackface to collect a paycheck. It’s violent.’
