Maisie Williams, 24, has done it again and left fans completely bamboozled with her appearance. Ditching the bleach blonde hair she surprised everyone with earlier this year, the Game of Thrones actress went back to black, as she graced the red carpet for this year’s Met Gala 2021.
With the theme of the iconic night celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion, Maisie certainly understood the assignment as she donned a gothic look in an all black leotard with long train.
She matched the dress with black heeled shoes and tights with jewelled detailing, as her hair morphed into a dramatic bow on top of her head.
The star opted for dark eyeshadow and liner for added effect, along with a dark lip and black and green nails.
She really did look the epitome of striking as she strutted the red carpet posing for photos, and fans couldn’t get enough.

Taking to the stage with stunning bleach blonde hair, the difference in appearance was so drastic it seems, that it took viewers some time to work out it was her.
The actress was there to present the top award of Global Icon to Taylor Swift, who is a confessed super fan of Game of Thrones.
Maisie, who played Arya Stark in the HBO hit fantasy drama, gushed over the singer as she graced the stage to accept, but fans sitting at home were still taken aback by the actress’ new lighter locks.
Writing on Twitter, viewers shared their confusion as they finally realised who was presenting the award, despite her humorous introduction by host Jack Whitehall.
“STOP IT IS THAT ARYA STARK,” one exclaimed, completely dumbfounded the didn’t recognise the “Queen of Winterfell.”
Another seemed to agree: “Oh how our Arya has grown up!” they wrote proudly.
“Who is that?! Is that really Maisie? She looks unrecognisable like that!” a third couldn’t believe their eyes.
“I can’t believe how long it took for me to work out who that was presenting Taylor,” a fourth laughed at their mistake.
“Maisie looks like a different person with blonde hair!!!” a fifth was surprised.
