Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley both make weight ahead of heavyweight clash with YouTube sensation clocking 190lbs as he aims for THIRD professional win by putting unbeaten record on the line

  • Jake Paul will take on ex-UFC star Tyron Woodley in a boxing bout on Sunday
  • The YouTuber is yet to lose in his boxing career, winning all three of his fights
  • The 24-year-old hit the scales at 190 pounds at the official weigh-in for the fight
  • Woodley, meanwhile, weighed in slightly lighter than Paul at 189.5lbs

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley both made the weight ahead of their heavyweight clash in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old YouTuber clocked in at 190 pounds, marginally heavier than former UFC Welterweight star Woodley, who hit the scales at 189.5 pounds.

Paul is slightly lighter than his weight for the victory over Ben Askren earlier this year, which saw him win in the first round in Atlanta at 191.5 pounds.

The YouTuber is, however, heavier than his weight for his victory over Nate Robinson in November 2020, which he measured at 191.5 pounds before beating the American in the second round.

His other victory saw him beat British YouTuber AnEnsonGib at the start of 2020, where he claimed another first round victory out in Florida.

Former welterweight king Woodley, who has highly impressive wins over the likes of Darren Till and Robbie Lawler, represents a serious step up for Paul, being renowned for his striking skills and genuine punch power.

And unlike fellow former UFC star Askren, there appears to be genuine animosity between the pair, who have been involved in numerous verbal spars both before and after the fight was signed.

All hell broke loose during a press conference on Thursday, when one of Paul’s entourage ‘DCut’ clashed with Woodley’s mother, leaving the former UFC champion furious.

Woodley came off the stage to confront Paul’s entourage and he was heard telling the YouTube star ‘I’ll f***ing sleep you right now’.

Police and security then had to intervene as the two sides clashed, just days before the two fighters meet inside the ring.

In the aftermath, DCut refused to apologise, claiming he ‘didn’t do anything wrong’.

The fight will take place in the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, USA, with Paul eyeing a fight with Tommy Fury, brother of heavyweight champion Tyson, after this bout.
