Sainsbury’s issues urgent food recall on pasta product amid allergy fears – 'do not eat'

A food recall is issued when a product is unsafe to eat. This could be due to allergy or health and safety fears.

The FSA advised: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it.

“Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”

Sainsbury’s added: “As a precautionary measure, we are asking customers who have purchased the product with the Use By date above, who have an allergy or intolerance to Milk, not to eat it and to return it to their nearest Sainsbury’s store, where they will receive a full refund.

“For any concerns or queries or if you are unable to return the product to store, then please visit our website Sainsbury’s.co.uk/help or contact our Careline on 0800 636262.
