Tony winner Alice Ripley denies claims she 'groomed' TikToker as early as age 12

Tony winner Alice Ripley has denied allegations that she ‘groomed’ and ‘engaged in touchy feely, sexually inappropriate’ behavior with TikTok user @lovelyleobrie as early as age 12.

Now age 25, Brie Lynn posted a series of videos describing how she ‘idolized’ the 57-year-old Broadway thespian and friended her on Facebook but didn’t meet her until she turned 13.

‘Our first conversation was about a photo of you in lingerie,’ the self-described ‘autistic lesbian’ wrote last Thursday.

‘When I was 13, you told me that the first time we locked eyes you felt like the world stopped. You were having constant inappropriate interactions with me.’

Between 2009-2011, Alice was starring as Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Next To Normal, which toured the country.

Brie claimed that Ripley ‘always requested that I come backstage by myself’ and ‘on the occasions that my mother was with me’ the acting instructor would act ‘incredibly stand-offish.’

Lynn flew to cities like San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City to meet with the Kent State University grad – often traveling with an ‘adult fan’ that her family ‘trusted.’

When the adult fan turned violent against then 14-year-old Brie, she locked herself in a bathroom and her parents flew to Chicago to retrieve her.

‘I reached out to Alice who was very nonchalant about the situation and just didn’t want to communicate with me at all,’ Lynn recalled.

‘Alice was absolutely no help to me at all despite her knowing me the best and being the only person in the state that knew me very very well. And she just didn’t care…She even gaslit me and shamed me for getting into fan drama.’

Brie said she spent the last decade trying to convince herself that the grooming didn’t happen and that she was in the wrong.

‘You separated me from all of the friends I had made and you made me hate the Broadway community I once loved,’ Lynn wrote.

‘And I never told anyone but I know now that I was never the problem because I was a kid.’

Brie said she’s not trying to ‘cancel’ Alice or ‘sue her’ or ‘hold her legally accountable.’

‘That’s not why I did this. I did this because I felt I need to for me to close this chapter of my life,’ Lynn explained.

‘And I hoped that it would give other people a voice. And if you look in my comment section, it seems that it did. And that, I’m very happy about. I want people to be able to share their stories as well.’

Ripley told Page Six on Tuesday: ‘Recently, a claim has been made online against me. There’s absolutely no validity to any of it. I appreciate everyone’s continued support.’

The American Psycho thespian has since cancelled her scheduled performance this Sunday at Manhattan’s 54 Below ‘at the artist’s request’ – according to the mag.
