Robert played the role of Peter Harrison in Brookside in 1991, as well as Gavin Ferris in Emmerdale in 1999.

The couple’s eldest son is called Harry, while Sam was born in February 2009.

Jane has been cited a very talented actor and won the award for Best Dramatic Performance at the 2011 British Soap Awards.

In 1998, she was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the National Television Awards in 1998.
