Now, in an exclusive interview with the Daily Express, singer-songwriter Tom Walker, 29, has admitted that despite the controversial decision, everybody is entitled to have their own thoughts on the matter.
Speaking from his dressing room ahead of his set at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield, the biggest festival in Western Europe to take place since the pandemic as part of the Government’s Event Research Programme, he said: “I’ve been double vaccinated myself so I feel kind of a lot better protected now than I would have before.”
The Leave a Light On hitmaker continued: “Everybody has got their own opinion on this matter, there are some people that don’t want to go out and get double vaccinated, but I just want to go see gigs.”
“As soon as they could give me that vaccine, I was having it because I want to just get back to my normal life and get performing and get out of doing my job,” he exclaimed.
