A Christmas special aired, marking the end of the first season, and a second outing has already been given the green light.
Season two will also be made up of six episodes, and will once more include a festive special.
An official release date for season two is yet to come to light, but filming is already well underway.
A September release could be possible, and Express.co.uk will update this story when more information comes to light.
The cast and crew returned to the Yorkshire Dales in March 2021 and were spotted filming in Bradwell, Kettlewell and Grassington.
The latter location provides the backdrop for the fictional village of Darrowby.
