Jeremy Clarkson has addressed a new report which concluded that men cause more damaging climate emissions than women. Swedish analysis shows that despite both genders spending similar amounts of money on goods, men spend more on petrol and diesel for their cars.
Commenting on the finding, Jeremy wrote: “Underemployed boffins announced this week that they’ve found a new cause of climate change: Men.
“Yup. They reckon that because we eat more meat than women and use more fuel, we are driving global temperatures up,” he penned in his column for The Sun.
However, Jeremy went on to point out that women eat more avocados than men and that should be taken into consideration as they have to be flown around the world.
“Because the fruit has to be flown here from South America, they do more climate damage than power-sliding a Lamborghini LM002 all the way from London to John O’Groats,” he went on to say.

Earlier in the month, the presenter also confirmed the return of his popular farming show.
“Following the success of the first series, I am delighted to say that there will be a second series of Clarkson’s Farm,” Jeremy informed his 7.3 million Twitter followers.
“You mean Kaleb’s Farm?” his co-star Kaleb Cooper amusingly interjected, as he filmed the 61-year-old at Diddly Squat Farm, where the pair work.
“All the team are back: Cheerful Charlie, Lisa, Gerald, and the foetus in the tractor,” the father-of-three light-heartedly continued referring to the 21-year-old tractor driver.
