French judge is fired for offering sex with his daughter, 12, on wife-swapping website

A French judge has been fired after advertising his 12-year-old daughter on a partner-swapping website.
Olivier Bailly, 55, was a vice-president of the law courts in Dijon, Burgundy, but was removed by the judicial disciplinary authority.
The father-of-three was charged last year with corrupting a minor and provoking paedophile crime.
He admitted his action at a hearing last month, but pleaded to keep his job as he had been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder following a case he worked on in 2007.

Offences for the crime carry up to 10 years in jail and Bailly was removed from the bench, where he was in charge of the family law division of Dijon courts, for ‘conduct causing serious damage’ to the judiciary, The Times reported.
Bailley, whose wife Sophie Véjux-Bailly is also a judge and was cleared, said he had been acting out fantasies. He never followed through.
Bailly was caught after a site for partner swapping reported the child’s picture, where she was wearing a swimsuit, was posted on their site. Police officers posing as men looking for sex then found Bailly.
His lawyer Pauline Neveu said that Bailly was suffering from PTSD relating to a trial in 2007 of rapist and serial killer Pierre Bodein, when Bailly had been chief prosecutor.
Bailly said that he doesn’t ‘feel really unworthy of this profession’. No date for trial has been announced.
