Metroid Dread Special Edition Is Sold Out Due To Scalpers

I think things need to be either in store only with a one per card limit OR have a ACTIVE WITH PURCHASES Nintendo network account for online preorders. Problem is Nintendo ( like Microsoft and Sony) MIGHT care, but not enough to come up with a solution. Hell, you have your own store fronts on your systems, make preorders through there. One order per account/console. Unless you have 2 or more switches in your house you’re only getting one reservation. How easy it is is why it’s done. Make it like this and it’s easy to do for real gamers, it’s a pain in the ass for scalpers. Oh I have to log into my current console to reserve the new console online? Easy. Done. Don’t want to reserve online? Guess I’ll be at GameStop/ Best Buy/ blah blah in the morning to try and reserve. Systems start being sold online by other retailers 6 months to a year AFTER release. Literally the end of scalping right there. But no. Manufacturers still get their money no matter who bought the item. Yeah they make more on software and peripherals if it’s in the actual hands of a consumer but hey, the consumer will get one eventually.
