Google searches for “houses for sale in London” have increased by almost five percent since last year. London was experiencing a mass exodus during lockdown as Britons looked to get more space for their money. It may come as no surprise that the sought-after borough of Fulham is an excellent option for London families.
The borough has great shopping options too with the King’s Road and Fulham Road offering boutique stores and lots of cafes.

Battersea

Another southwest hotspot is the leafy district of Battersea which is known for its iconic park and south bank location.
The area is located in the borough of Wandsworth and is just under three miles from Charing Cross.
The area is home to lots of stunning Victorian town houses, modern apartments and green space.
There are also two very south-after schools: Belville Primary School and Honeywell Infant and Junior Schools.

Hammersmith

Located in west London, Hammersmith has a lot of transport connections and plenty of primary schools.
House prices are a little higher but with the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith lines on your doorstop, you get what you pay for.
Kensington, Chiswick ad Fulham are also just a stone’s throw away which means there’s plenty to do on the weekend.
Streatham
