Enjoyed so far the time I’ve played it, but with a huge backlog and a other games I’ve been playing with friends/family, not to mention open-world fatigue, I haven’t sank as much time into the game as I want to as with most games in the backlog. (I think when there’s one particular game leaving XBGPU I’ll put extra effort, like with Indivisible and Bloodstained: RoTN), other than that I try to spread my time between a few, and like I said, it’s a quite enjoyable game when I play. I have the Japanese version and using the Japanese dubs. Great voice acting, story is unraveling so far in a way that creates a contained rather narrative than expanding on the past, so far, at least since I haven’t played the original (so that’s actually good). I love the combat system so far, with plugin-chip modifications with sets(And weapon) and for the pod, freeze or quick-style usage of “potions”. I feel like the variance of enemies so far are only entertaining in that it’s a new enemy, but doesn’t pose a threat.. while regular enemies can be hard at times if not paying attention, it’s just easy come easy go, and occasionally times I will die when not watching my health. But the bosses/mini-bosses have been pretty fun AF, I had to change my setup a lot to make it easier, and I’m only playing on normal. However, I don’t die often with the bosses, either, It’s pretty manageable with the range of customization they have implemented, which is why I feel it’s well done.(or you can grind away at it with base)
