Henry Golding is a dad! Crazy Rich Asians star and wife Liv Lo welcome their first child
Henry Golding and wife Liv Lo announced on Monday that they have welcomed their newborn child.
The Crazy Rich Asians actor, 34, and Lo, 35, took to Instagram to reveal they are new parents, as Golding wrote to his wife, ‘Your strength brought us our greatest joy.
‘This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you.’

Lo, who works in the exercise industry with her company Fitsphere, posted, ‘On March 31st our lives changed forever,’ sharing a shot of the baby.
The Taiwan-born entrepreneur added, ‘I’ll prob be up during midnight breastfeeds checking in on you, but otherwise “I’ll be back” xx.’
The couple, who exchanged vows more than four years ago in an August 2016 wedding in Sarawak, Malaysia, did not reveal the child’s name or gender in the set of social media announcements.
The Gentlemen actor, speaking in February with Us Weekly, opened up about his forthcoming fatherhood, after the couple last year said they were expecting.

He said he and Lo were not anxious to make public all of the information about their child.
‘We know the sex,’ he said. ‘We’re keeping it on the down-low. We’ve got a name sort of rattling around, which I think it’s only fair that… my wife, she thinks that the baby should actually hear the name first. So, we’ve been trying to hold out on telling anyone.’
Golding, who stars in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, explained how he had been thinking about his nascent fatherhood.

‘I want to be one of those cool dads; it’s harder than it sounds,’ he told the outlet. ‘I think, I’m sure your kids go through phases of you being that greatest hero, to the most embarrassing human in their eyes. So I look forward to living out all of those.
‘I want to be the guy sort of dressing up in weird outfits and picking them up from school and embarrassing them, like, continuously.’

Golding wrote: ‘2021 is already looking brighter,’ with an emoji of a heart and a baby.
Lo, who works in the exercise industry with her company Fitsphere, posted a shot writing, ‘Such immense joy this little one has brought us already. Now we get to share it with you … we love you!’ with emojis of hearts and stars.
