White House website lists ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in break from predecessors

The White House’s official website and Twitter account lists the “Biden-Harris Administration” — a break in tradition from the previous two administrations.

“The Biden-Harris Administration” page on WhiteHouse.gov features pictures of President Biden, Vice President Harris and their spouses, first lady Dr. Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

“Thousands of people work in the West Wing, the East Wing, the Cabinet, and the Executive Office of the President. Learn more about the people who carry out the priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration,” the page says, Fox News first reported.

Former President Trump’s White House website listed “The Administration” and included pictures of the president, first lady Melania Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and second lady Karen Pence, before listing the members of the executive offices, according to archived images.

And former President Obama’s White House website handled the administration’s page in a similar fashion, including photos of him and then-Vice President Biden, as well as first lady Michelle Obama and Biden’s wife, archived images show.

But it aslo included a similar description of the administration as the Biden-Harris page.

“Thousands of people work in the West Wing, the East Wing, the Cabinet, and the Executive Office of the President. Learn more about the people who carry out the priorities of the Obama-Biden Administration,” the description read.
