A series of bangs followed which listeners took to being Vassos pretending to “flounce” out the studio in an outrage.
Addressing his co-host’s mock fury, Chris said: “That wasn’t a flounce that was a storm, you can’t upgrade it to a storm, we weren’t warned.”
Last week Piers shocked GMB viewers after he stormed off the morning show following a debate with colleague Alex Beresford, over his comments about the Duchess of Sussex.
After Meghan opened up to Oprah about having suicidal feelings while pregnant with son Archie, Piers said on GMB: “I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
The presenter went on to make the decision to leave the ITV show.
