What happened on RPDR UK Season 2 Episode 6 ?
The time has come… the moment some of the queens have been waiting for and some have been dreading… It’s time to play Snatch Game! As the queens prepped their celebrity impersonations for this monumental challenge, Ru made her socially distanced way through the Werk Room. That included a pit stop by Tia Kofi’s station, where Ru subtly guided Tia to performing as Mel B instead of Shirley Bassey. When it came time to talk to Ellie Diamond and A’Whora, both queens broke down a bit. Ellie teared up while talking about her supportive twin brother, and A’Whora laid her insecurity bare before Ru. Emotions were high—and it’s no surprise considering these divas are coming off of seven months in lockdown
Snatch Game was… well, choices were made. Tia’s Mel B lacked any bite; Sister Sister played it safe as Psychic Sally (a feat considering psychics are a kiss of death in this challenge!); Lawrence Chaney couldn’t channel her comedy into Miriam Margolyes; Ellie did fine as Matt Lucas’ character Vicki Pollard; Tayce also did just fine as Jane Turner, but somehow got in the top?; A’Whora camped it up as Louie Spence, but somehow got in the bottom?; and Bimini Bon Boulash absolutely ran away with the win as Katie Price.
On the main stage, category was “PreHERstoric.” Tayce took the stage as the sexiest cavewoman ever, and Bimini blew minds with her single-celled organism fashion. Bimini obviously took home the RuPeter badge, leaving Tia and Lawrence to face off, pterodactyl lewk vs. sabertooth tiger gown. And, breaking the hearts of every viewer, Tia just couldn’t pull out a win in the lip sync—and also Lawrence is the frontrunner of the season. Tia sashayed away, but not before asking if Ru was sure about her decision.
