“And there’s a thing called the everyday rule, so if you decide to so something everyday it’s so much easier!”
Referring back to his own circumstances, he admitted having four kids under the age of 15 is “brilliant” but “full of decisional spontaneity one way or another”.
“I have to have these rules because there’s so much going on anyway that you can’t cater for,” he explained, using Wednesday night as an example.
“Last night, in 15 minutes over dinner about 30 things happened that we didn’t know was going to happen!
“There were smashed plates on the floor… and this is just my wife,” he giggled.
