A couple and their two children were found dead in an Oklahoma suburb in what authorities called a triple-murder suicide.
The man, woman and kids were found by the man’s mother, who had arrived at the home in Sand Springs just outside Tulsa with plans to babysit for the day, according to TulsaWorld.com.
When she wasn’t able to reach her son or daughter-in-law on the phone, the woman went to their house Saturday afternoon and made the gruesome discovery, said cops, who declined to identify the victims.
The bodies of the victims were discovered “all over the house,” Police Capt. Todd Enzbrenner told the outlet, describing the deaths as “quite a tragedy for the community.”
Witnesses hear a loud banging earlier in the day, which Enzbrenner described as “like furniture being thrown around,” according to the report.
