January Transfer Window Rumours

With us over halfway through January now, and the January transfer window deadline being on the horizon, many clubs will be scrambling to complete their final bits of business to ensure that they are well set for the rest of the season. Because of this, there are many rumours flying around about what business we are due to expect to happen and below we investigate some of the more likely deals to happen.

One transfer that has been spoken about across the whole of the month has been the loan signing of Chelsea centre back Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan. Milan rates the young English defender very highly and see him as potentially the future of the heart of their defence. The Italian giants will be looking to take Tomori on a loan deal until the end of the season which would include an option to buy if they were impressed of around £25million. It has been said that Milan is in a rush to get their hands on Tomori and have set a deadline of this weekend to make the transfer.

Whilst we wait for the January transfer window to come to a close on deadline day, many football punters are migrating over to online casinos markets such as at thebestcasinos.co.uk to keep themselves entertained mid-week whilst there is a lack of football. These certain casinos have a wide variety of your favourite casino games with a host of promotional deals and sign up offers for all new customers signing up now.

One transfer that has just got over the line in the past few days seeing Mesut Ozil leave Arsenal after eight years in North London and have moved to his native country of Turkey to Fenerbahce which have been rumoured for some time now. Ozil’s reign at Arsenal did come to a bitter end however with the manager, board and fans all being on his about his high wages and his minimum effort levels where it turned rather sour; in fact, Ozil hasn’t played football since March. Ozil will be looking forward to a fresh start in Turkey and one we think he can relish.

And finally, one that has just come out of the woodwork at the end of this transfer window has been that Martin Odegaard is unhappy with his playing time at Real Madrid and is close to handing in a transfer request at Real. Odegaard has such a successful season on load at Real Sociedad and it is reported that a return there would be his favoured destination. However, Arsenal have now reported that they could in interested in taking Odegaard to The Emirates due to the departing Mesut Ozil and have thrown their hat into the ring for the signature of the young attacking midfielder, a saga to certainly keep your eyes on.
