This is what will happen a lot this year.
While platform holders talked about games getting easier and faster to output last year. The reality is that only games that are the same as previous games are faster and easier to make.
Games where there is innovation will take longer to make and because of Cyberpunk and COVID expect a lot of games to be delayed this year. 2021 will be known as the year of delays. We are in January and for the first half of the year there are not a lot of games with solid ship dates yet.
