Is Harry Potter’s Cormac McLaggen in Bridgerton?
There is good news for fans of Harry Potter and Bridgerton.
Freddie Stroma, who played wizard Cormac Mclaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2, does appear in season one of Bridgerton.
In Bridgerton, Stroma takes on the major role of Prussian Prince Friedrich, who is the loosely-based version the real-life Prince Frederich Wilhelm Ludwig of Prussia.
Prince Friedrich is the nephew of the Queen (played by Golda Rosheuvel), who has his heart set on Daphe Bridgerton (Dynevor).

Despite being the perfect match for Daphe, their romance quickly ended after she chose her one true love, the Duke of Hastings (Page) instead.
Stroma, 34 is a British actor and model from London.
He is best known for his role as Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and Luke in the 2011 musical comedy, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song.
Stroma is also well known for playing Adam Cromwell in the dramedy series Unreal.
Most recently, Stroma played the role of H.G Wells in the ABC series Time After Time.
In Time After Time, he stars opposite Josh Gowman, Jennifer Ferrin and Will Chase.
His other credits include The Inbetweeners 2, Second Act, Grand Hotel and Casualty.
Fans have taken to Twitter to share their excitement on spotting Stroma in the Bridgerton.
One fan tweeted: “I JUST REALIZED PRINCE FRIEDRICH IN BRIDGERTON IS CORMAC MCLAGGEN ????? wHAAAAT [sic].”
A second fan said: “SO YOU’RE TELLING ME FREDDIE STROMA IS LUKE FROM A CINDERELLA STORY ONCE UPON A SONG IS ALSO CORMAC MCLAGGEN FROM HARRY POTTER IS ALSO PRINCE FRIEDRICH FROM BRIDGERTON???? [sic]”
A third fan added: “I just found out that prince friedrich from bridgerton is cormac mclaggen from harry potter and my brain cannot comprehend this information, this man is a chameleon i swear #Bridgerton [sic].”
Stroma is not the only Harry Potter star to land a role in Bridgerton.
Page starred as an extra in Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows Part One and can be seen attending the wedding of Bill (Domhnall Gleeson) and Fleur (Clémence Poésy).
