Jonnie Irwin, 47, has recalled a difficult experience he had with a buyer on A Place In The Sun. The presenter admitted he struggled not to lose his patience due to the “strange” method she used when making decisions about properties.
Jonnie recalled: “I had a lady last year who wanted to buy in Madeira because it was close to the lost city of Atlantis.
“Stranger still, she wouldn’t give me a decision until she’d consulted her crystal, which she would swing like a pendulum and see which way it was swinging.”
Jonnie went on to explain the woman would rely solely on the way the crystal was swinging before she made any choices.
He continued in an interview with the Daily Express: “Anti clockwise meant a ‘no’.

Talking about his other half, who he married in 2016, Jonnie said he thinks she’ll have a great relationship with their sons.
“I think there is something about mothers and sons, and they have got her wrapped around their little fingers.
“I think I will be outnumbered, I’ll be ganged up on, I have no doubt,” he told Hello! magazine.
His adorable twins – Rafa and Cormac – were born in June 2020.
