Lorraine Kelly, 61, has reignited her feud with MP Esther McVey, 53, as she branded some of her former GMTV co-star’s controversial views “toxic”. It comes after the host of ITV’s Lorraine clashed with Esther when she appeared as a guest on Good Morning Britain last year.
At the time, Piers Morgan had asked Lorraine if she recalled working with Esther on GMTV in the 1990s.
However, the Scottish presenter simply claimed she couldn’t “remember” the ins and outs.
The awkward moment sparked rumours of a feud between the pair, which Lorraine glossed over in 2019.
However, she seems to have dived back into the duo’s disagreement while opening up on things that “annoy” her.

During a joint interview with her 26-year-old daughter Rosie, Lorraine insisted she doesn’t often get angry, but there are certain issues which can prompt her to feel irritated.
She said: “But when I’m annoyed, I’m annoyed. Everyone’s just trying to go about their lives, so I hate bigotry and bullying and you see that a lot online unfortunately.
“I just think that’s the kind of thing that would get me really, really angry.”
The star was then quizzed by The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine on whether “bigotry and bullying” could be the reason behind her spat with politician Esther last June.
She said last year about her views: “These were very young children in primary schools and I said the people who should know whether it is age-relevant are the parents not the state.
“I believe that parents with very young children … four- and five-year-olds, and I would say that is a young child … their parents know for their child what is age-relevant.
“And by the way, this is not controversial. This is the same policy that Justine Greening oversaw. It is the same policy that Labour oversaw. For young children in this multicultural, diverse, modern society that we live in, I would say for very young children – as you say, four and five – parents have the say over sex education.
“But I happily agree and I welcome that LGBT rights are taught within sex education.”

Meanwhile, Lorraine recently blasted pop star Rita Ora and newsreader Kay Burley for failing to adhere to Covid lockdown rules.
It comes after Rita hosted her 30th birthday party during the second coronavirus lockdown in England.
Sky News presenter Kay also shocked fans last week when it was reported that she – along with some of her fellow Sky News hosts and reporters – breached lockdown rules to go out for her 60th birthday bash.
Lorraine took aim at both Rita and Kay during a Queen’s Christmas speech-style message on The Last Leg last week and said the pair can “f**k themselves”.
