Melania Trump heartbreak: Barron to face huge lifestyle shakeup after US Election defeat

Ms Trump is already making plans for her exit from the executive residence, despite President Trump’s claims the election was “rigged”, a source told CNN. People magazine claimed last week that Mr Trump’s apartment in Mar-a-Lago will be “expanded and spruced up,” citing a source close to the President.

It also spoke to another source who claimed Ms Trump is due to “decide soon” on a suitable Florida school for Barron.

A source at Mar-a-Lago told People Magazine in February 2019 that the President “loves” to visit the club.

They said: “No matter what else is happening in the world, he is treated like royalty at Mar-a-Lago.”

However, while the Trumps are used to a no-expense-spared lifestyle, they would be downsizing if they decide to move to Mar-a-Lago.

The section of the resort the family has adapted as their living quarters is approximately 3,000 square feet whereas in the White House the family enjoyed a 55,000 square foot mansion to live in.

Laurence Leamer, author of ‘Mar-a-Lago: Inside the Gates of Power at Donald Trump’s Presidential Palace’ told CNN how the Florida home might become too “confining” for Mr Trump.

The author said: “It will feel like staying full-time at a nice hotel.

“It’s fine for a bit, sure, but can you imagine Donald Trump just sitting around there for six months of the year? It will start to feel confining very quickly.”

“Otherwise, Ransom Everglades, which would be far for them, Miami Country Day — which is about 15 minutes — and Cushman are all very good private schools.

“Pinecrest is a very good school, but super far. If they are going Jewish and plan to in the meantime rent or live in that area near where they are building the house, I bet Lehrman.”

But while the couple reportedly already own land, they may not begin living there immediately.
