Newcastle face having ANOTHER Premier League game postponed due to their squad Covid outbreak with training cancelled again today and Saturday’s West Brom clash in serious doubt

Newcastle United’s home game against West Bromwich on Saturday is at risk of postponement after more Covid-19 cases at the club.

Players had been hoping to return to training on Monday afternoon but were told to wait for results from their latest round of testing.

That session has now been scrapped and it is not known when Steve Bruce and his squad will be able to return to the training ground.

Last Friday’s trip to Aston Villa was postponed after an outbreak of the virus among first-team players and staff, and it is thought numbers have continued to rise.

That has left the visit of West Brom in serious doubt.
