As food insecurity spikes across the country, the couple recorded a rendition of the classic holiday tune The Christmas Song with all benefits going to Feeding America.
‘This has been such a crazy year with so many challenges. This holiday season, it is more important than ever to spread love and kindness to everyone! Shawn and I wanted to send all our love to you amazing humans so we put together something special for you,’ the 23-year-old Havana singer wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, her 22-year-old boyfriend penned a similar message about their donation of ‘$100k to support those in need’ to the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

Since March, the non-profit has seen a 60 percent increase in food assistance needs since the coronavirus outbreak, according to CNN, with ’40 percent of the people who are showing up for food distributions’ never previously relying on ‘charitable food assistance.’
Mendes fans were overjoyed by the new music, as they praised him for ‘saving’ 2020 with the new track, in addition to his album Wonder, which dropped on Friday.
The Christmas Song marks the lovebird’s third duet together, following their massive 2018 hit Señorita and 2015’s I Know What You Did Last Summer.
