One of her most famous recipes is a pot roast.

But this time Martha Stewart happened to roast a follower over pot.

The 79-year-old businesswoman hilariously poked fun at someone commenting on her Instagram on Wednesday.

The follower joked about Martha’s affinity for down vests as she sells them as part of her clothing collection with the tagline ‘this is the new sweater.’

Martha was plugging her CBD company in the post as the Instagram user commented: ‘If the down vest is the “new sweater” why do you still need to wear a sweater under it?’

The television personality used her quick wit as she responded ‘very perceptive! Are you high?’

The lifestyle guru has been involved in the CBD game for nearly two years as Cannabidiol is the active ingredient in cannabis derived from the hemp plant which is used to treat conditions like pain, insomnia and anxiety.

Back in September she launched Martha Stewart CBD through her partnership with Marijuana producer Canopy Growth.

The deal between Canopy and Sequential Brands Group Inc, which owns the Martha Stewart brand, will seek to leverage Stewart’s knowledge of consumer products in the launch of products based on CBD, the non-psychoactive chemical found in marijuana. 

 She began her new venture with the company in February 2019 as she said that she was excited about new new venture.

At the time Martha said: ‘I’m especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people’s beloved pets.’

 Martha isn’t the first celebrity to partner up with Canopy as Snoop Dogg, who she has hosted television shows and podcasts with, has also worked with the company. 

The 49-year-old rapper has had a licensing deal with the same company for approximately four years.

Back in 2016, the company teamed up with the rapper to launch his medicinal marijuana line, Leafs by Snoop.

According to CNN, the collection of cannabis products available in Snoop’s line includes edibles – different foods infused with cannabis extracts – as well as hand-weighed marijuana flowers and concentrates.

The pair joined forces to host a cooking talk-show in 2016, which has ran for three seasons and saw the pair getting up to all sorts of cooking challenges with different celebrity guests.

And the show – Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party – was a hit with viewers when it aired on VH1 three years ago.
