Joe Joyce defeated Daniel Dubois by stoppage in Saturday night’s British heavyweight clash at the Royal Albert Hall. Joyce almost closed Dubois’ left eye before stopping the brave youngster in the tenth round.
Dubois seemed to be dominating large periods of the fight, and was utilising his impressive punch power.
The younger man started well, but was unable to get through to Joyce.
The 35-year-old took every shot to the chin and kept on moving forward and throwing damaging blows of his own.
The ‘Juggernaught’ had pinpoint accuracy and damaged Dubois’ left eye midway through the bout.
