Reese Witherspoon leads the stars celebrating Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is a special time to spend at home with those who are the closest to you, but this year is a little different.

The circles have gotten tighter thanks to a spike in the coronavirus cases. But that does not mean the stars are not putting on their finest clothes to enjoy some turkey and wine with those dear to them.

Celebrities took to Instagram early on Thursday to show off the decor they have put out to ring in the annual food fest holiday.

Reese Witherspoon was seen in a green and black dress as she stood in front of her decorated table at home.

‘Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! I’m so grateful for this Draper James community. Wishing you all a wonderful, happy, healthy Thanksgiving. Thankful for all of you! xo Reese,’ she wrote.

The star is currently filming her series The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston.

Aniston posed with her new dog named Lord Chesterfield; she said they were ‘grateful.’

The ex-wife of Brad Pitt wore a dark top and skintight blue jeans with boots as she sat on a hardwood floor. 

For many celebs, the holiday means some serious family time as several even shared photos of their entire brood including Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.

 The 45-year-old former baseball star planted a romantic kiss on his 51-year-old A-lister fiance as they were surrounded by their children.

Alex captioned it: ‘Even in the most challenging of times, we need to count our blessings and celebrate what we have. Be thankful for family. Be thankful for friends. Be thankful for the people who make a difference in our lives.’ 

Gwyneth Paltrow shared a rare photograph of herself with her two children: 16-year-old daughter Apple and 14-year-old son Moses. 

She captioned it: ‘On this November 26th, I was able to visit my fathers resting place (on his birthday) with these two loves of my life. Happy thanksgiving. Life has incredible highs and lows. Perhaps feeling it all at the same time is the art.’ 

The Kardashians and Jenners had to get in on the fun as Kendall and Kylie made waves on social media as they posted a silly TikTok video together. 

The two humorously touched on topics including their dating lives, who is sloppy drunk, and modelling skills.

They also spent some time with their momager Kris as she and Kylie showed off their pouts in a cute selfie. 

Chrissy Teigen said she was ‘so grateful’ for her two kids as she wore a black and white outfit.

The 34-year-old model went on to share quite a snapshot of herself wearing a very low-cut patterned maxi dress.

Vogue model Paulina Porizkova wore a T-shirt with women’s lingerie on the front.

‘Ooh baby, getting hot in the kitchen!’ said the bikini model.

‘For today’s Thanksgiving I present my 10year old velour leisure wear from Athleta – yes, again- but this time accessorized with this slammin’ sexy apron, which may have been a joke gift from my husband when he still liked me.

Salma Hayek posed in a maroon top while by her Thanksgiving table that had candles burning. ‘Let’s be safe and grateful,’ said the Frida actress.

Celine Dion was seen in a black and white outfit as she stood in a field with leaves strewn about as she said ‘we are all together in spirit.’ 

Alicia Silverstone was photographed at a farm holding a live turkey.

Her second set of children are Heaven, 13, and son Shaya, 12, who are from her ex-husband David Charvet of Baywatch fame. They were married to from 2011 to 2018.

Her girls looked happy as they were dressed up for the fancy turkey dinner. 

And Burke’s son looked just like dad Dave with winning good looks and a megawatt smile.      

Rihanna’s rumoured beau A$AP Rocky has donated meals to a homeless shelter where he once lived.

The 32-year-old Praise the Lord (Da Shine) hitmaker personally hand delivered 120 meals to the Regent Family Residence, where he and his mother once lived. The donation took place on the eve of Thanksgiving with the help of one of his favorite local restaurants, Amy Ruth’s Restaurant.

The homeless shelter currently caters for 83 families, including 111 kids, TMZ reports.

The Regent Family Residence is located in New York City as is Amy Ruth’s Restaurant. 

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, grew up in Harlem with his mom Renee Black. They stayed at the shelter 20 years ago when he was only 12-years-old.

Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky – who used to date Kendall Jenner and Chanel Iman – previously revealed how ‘hilarious’ he thinks it is that ‘old folks’ know who he is now because of his imprisonment in Sweden last summer.

The Jenners spent the holiday together, as Kris and Kendall shared pictures of a charcuterie board that they had for the family.

Kris captioned her story: ‘yummmmmmmm.’

Kendall and her sister Kylie also posted a number of videos to the latter’s TikTok account showing the differences between her and her sister. 

Later, their aunt Kourtney posted a photo of Kris looking stunning as she awaited Thanksgiving dinner.

Emma Roberts took to Instagram to show off her baby bump along with an already-set-up Christmas tree. 

She noted that she was thankful for everyone in her life and wanted to send out love to those around her.

The Unfabulous actress is currently expecting her first child with Inside Llewyn Davis actor Garrett Hedlund. 

The couple made the big announcement in August.

The actress, 44, originally trained to become a ballerina before an injury prompted her to take up modeling instead.
