Kate Middleton has ‘strong sentimental attachment’ to luxury diamond earrings

Kate Middleton, 38, wife to Prince William, also 38, is known for her stylish outfits which she completes with her stunning jewellery. Her collection includes necklaces, earrings, rings and she will even sometimes add a brooch to her look. 

Alex also shared that they were first worn by the Duchess on a very special occasion.

The expert added: “Made of 18ct gold and pave set with diamonds all the way up to the stem, they were first worn to Princess Charlotte’s christening in July 2016, an important occasion for Kate; she must hold a strong sentimental attachment to these pieces.”

For Princess Charlotte’s christening, Kate stunned in a knee-length smart cream dress with matching cream accessories.

This included matching heels and a matching cream fascinator.

She has also worn them with a plum dress to a forum in London back in 2017 as well as adding the pendant and earrings to a bright blue jumper for a Patron lunch.

The pieces tend to be constantly sold out online but the earrings retail for £3,750 while the pendant retails at £2,000.

Another impressive piece of jewellery Kate has in her collection previously belonged to Princess Diana.

Her engagement ring, previously given to Diana by Prince Charles features a large oval sapphire in the centre, surrounded by 14 diamonds.
