Susanna Reid close to tears as she speaks on Meghan Markle's miscarriage

“I felt the clamminess of his palm and kissed his knuckles, wet from both our tears. Staring at the cold white walls, my eyes glazed over. I tried to imagine how we’d heal.”

Commenting on the heartbreaking news on Good Morning Britain, Susanna remarked: “One of the things, I mean, enormous sympathies for Meghan and for the couple and for the family because that is a tragic loss and incredibly hard thing to deal with.

“One of the things it will do is it will roved some comfort to other people who have been in that situation.

“When somebody so high profile speaks out on something that is very difficult to talk about and that will be some measure of support for anybody else who has suffered this tragedy.
