EXCLUSIVE: DailyMailTV’s Alicia Quarles appointed as a contributor for ABC News’ GMA3: ‘It’s really a career accomplishment’
Alicia Quarles, Senior News Correspondent for Emmy Award winning DailyMailTV, has been appointed as a contributor for ABC News’ GMA3.

Dynamic duo: Alicia will contribute to GMA3 two days per week as she continues to appear every day on DailyMailTV, which is hosted by fellow journalist Thomas Roberts
Alicia said: ‘It’s been a true pleasure growing with DailyMailTV over these past seasons.
‘I’m looking forward to continuing to play an integral part in the show in season four with our Emmy-award winning team.’
Prior to joining DailyMailTV, Quarles spent three years at E! News where she was their New York correspondent.

Alicia joined E! News from The Associated Press where she was the Global Entertainment and Lifestyle Editor, overseeing a staff of more than 60 people.
While there she covered President Obama’s Inauguration, broke the news of Whitney Houston’s death, reported on the death of Michael Jackson and the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Sonia Sotomayor.
During her nearly 20 years as a journalist she has been on the scene of everything from Hurricane Sandy to multiple Super Bowls, the Academy Awards, the Met Gala and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Quarles graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Executive Producer for GMA3 and ABCNL Catherine McKenzie is delighted about the new addition to the program.
She said: ‘We are very excited to have Alicia join GMA3 as our newest contributor. She is extremely talented and will be a great addition to the team.’

GMA 3 is hosted by Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes as it also features ABC News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

GMA3 airs daily at 1pm ET/12pm Central on ABC.
