A new Free Guy trailer dropped earlier today that provides more backstory details. Ryan Reynolds is a bank teller named Guy that lives in an MMO. Everyday he wakes up, goes to work, dies from reckless, unfeeling players, and respawns in his bed. This is normal for our kind-hearted protagonist because he doesn’t know that he’s merely an NPC living in a video game! Everything changes when he falls in love with a human. Free Guy is from the studio behind Deadpool and releases on December 11. Similarly, a live-action Yakuza movie was recently announced.
