I bought this to replace a lemon of a Kindle, and I love it. I primarily use it to read with the Kindle app and to check my email, so keep that in mind.
Its lightweight, and I got the white/silver one, so its quite lovely. The only thing I didnt realize when I ordered it is that its the kid version, which as far as I can tell just means it comes with the app to make the device safe for kids to use.
I removed that part, and now its just a regular tablet. Its pretty fast, has lots of storage, with the ability to add more with a micro-SD card. The only complaint I have is that it takes a while to charge.
Once its charged, it holds a charge for days (again, I only use it to read and check my email, so Im not streaming videos or anything like that), but once its dead, it takes a few hours to charge.
Not a big deal, but the one thing my old Kindle did well was charge quickly. Im OK with the trade-off. This is a refurbished tablet, but it has worked like new thus far.
No issues. Ive had it for just over two weeks and read for a couple hours every day. Im very happy with it, and that I was able to save some money buying used.
