According to new reports, instead of heading to the aisle together, Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have decided to break up. As you may know, the two were engaged and they seemed really happy and in love.
However, one report claims they’ve gone their separate ways now, breaking their engagement and putting an end to their marriage plans.
This is what a source shared with People magazine.
The publication reported that: ‘It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers. They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.’
The news of their split comes not too long after Max popped the big question.
The proposal happened on July 22 in Malibu on a beach and it was really romantic so fans were shocked to learn that the two celebs ended things so soon after.
Not to mention that Demi also marked their six-month anniversary at the start of this month since they started seeing each other in March.
At the time, the actress and singer shared a video of Max playing around with her pet dogs on her IG Stories and alongside it, she sweetly wrote: ‘Happy 6 months to my darling, the best father these pups could ever ask for… I love you BEYOND.. Thank you for making my life so much better…I love you baby.’

In addition to that, Demi has also confessed before that her feelings for Max were love at first sight.

While on The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1 she shared that: ‘We started dating. We immediately went into quarantine. I knew that I loved him the night that I met him. So a week after we went into quarantine. I was like, ‘Look, we are quarantining together. Um, cause I love you.’’
