It’s already been three years since the production for the third movie in the beloved franchise was put on pause.

You probably remember that, at the time, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, decided she no longer wanted to be a part of the project.

Ever since them, the possibility of none other than Sharon Stone taking over that role instead has been discussed many times.

Sarah Jessica Parker has even called that idea ‘really interesting’ before.

But what does the actress herself think about that offer?

Well, Stone just told the host of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen, that she had not even heard the speculations she might portray Samantha in the third installment of the franchise before.

However, she assured everyone that any time she would get the opportunity to work with Cynthia Nixon, it would be nothing less than an honor.

In case you were not aware, the two actresses already star together in the new Netflix series, ‘Ratched!’

Furthermore, she was also a guest on WWHL yesterday and she shared her own opinion on the casting of Stone as well!

‘I think Sharon would be of course totally amazing. Kim was incredibly great as Samantha, I think Sharon would totally make it her own. But I’ve also heard many people say, including Kim Cattrall herself, that if we were to have a different fourth woman that maybe it would be a woman of color this time. And I think that would be amazing as well,’ Nixon stated, prompting Stone to agree.
