Chrissy Teigen updated her fans on social media this week. The Sports Illustrated alum revealed the gender of her upcoming baby from the comfort of her doctor-mandated bed.
The 34-year-old Cravings author took to her Instagram account to share the happy news and she accidentally let the word “he” slip out. Put simply, it appears as though Chrissy and John will be having a baby boy.
In the clip, Chrissy covered her mouth after uttering “he,” leading many to believe it was an accident. Although, a select group of her fans believes it was a carefully calculated “mistake.” Either way, her social media following appears thrilled with the news because they flooded her comment section.
As fans of the former model know, she and John, 41, got married in 2013 after their first meeting in 2007 while filming the video for “Stereo.” They have had two children since, including their 2-year-old Miles, and Luna, 4.
Earlier in the month, doctors told Chrissy she needed to be off her feet for at least two weeks amid her pregnancy. The star admitted that she wasn’t taking her doctor’s order seriously. Teigen said she never realized the term “bed rest,” meant literally staying in bed. She thought it just meant relaxing around her home.
As for what she is focused on, Chrissy says her health is her number one priority at this time because her third pregnancy is appearing more difficult than her last two.
Teigen noted that it was a “difficult pregnancy,” but she’s been feeling good lately. The star went on to joke that she feels as though she’s now being punished for bragging about how her first two pregnancies went so well. The model went on to say that she was “very happy to be carrying this baby.”

Earlier in the year, Chrissy was in the headlines when she revealed she had her breast implants removed. Chrissy posted a picture of her implants sitting in a bowl. She claimed she couldn’t be happier about removing them.
