iOS 14 release – Your Apple iPhone will get this blockbuster upgrade TODAY

Apple has had a big week announcing the release of a new Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE and stunning iPad Air which gets iPad Pro features on a smaller budget. However, it wasn’t just hardware announced at the US firm’s keynote with a release date for iOS 14 also revealed.

This blockbuster upgrade is packed with new features and the best part is…it’s out later today.

Although Apple never confirms a time for its yearly iOS upgrades we’re expecting this new operating system to be ready for download at around 6pm tonight.

And there’s more good news as iOS 14 is compatible with most iPhones. In fact, if you have iOS 13 on your iPhone right now then you’ll be able to get the new update.

iOS 14 was first announced back in June at Apple’s WWDC Developers Conference and since then the US firm has been putting it through its paces as part of its beta test. This is where Apple attempts to iron out any bugs or issues before it releases the software to millions of iPhone fans across the planet.

Those tests obviously went well as Apple now seems happy to let everyone get a taste of iOS 14 and there’s plenty of treats coming to your smartphone tonight.
