Just months after her messy divorce with Jay Tucker was finalized, Niecy Nash revealed that she had been married again — to a woman. The actress opened up on how she met and fell in love with her new wife.
It was quite a shock when Niecy revealed that she had tied the knot so soon after her split from Jay Tucker; however, social media couldn’t stop buzzing about the fact that she was with a woman. To public knowledge, Niecy has never been known to date the same sex.
Not only was it beautiful to see her find love again but it was also great to see that she has come out as a part of the LGBTQIA community — something that she actually has flipped into the phrase to ‘going into herself.’
‘I don’t feel like my marriage is my coming out of anywhere, but rather a going into myself and being honest about who I love,’ she explained to People Magazine.

According to Niecy, she has known Jessica Betts for years. She explained that there was no attraction to her when they first met but once she separated from her husband — something shifted.
She said that sometimes a person can be broken by love but she has learned to ‘hold space for magic because it can happen any time.’
