Google Maps: Street View catches ghostly hand on the side of the road – what is it?

Google Maps Street View is a tool used by people all around the world. It’s commonly used to help people navigate their own country as well as destinations further away. However, more recently the tool has been used to spot some haunting sights.

In the middle of the road is a floating hand that looks like the ghostly palm of an apparition.

However, on closer inspection it seems that the mystery hand could just be a glitch in the Google lens camera.

Sometimes the Google Maps lens can make mistakes and cause glitches that can sometimes look bizarre.

The ghostly sighting was spotted by a eagle-eyed Reddit user.

They posted the screenshot on the forum with the caption, “Street view is a very handy feature…”

The image has since garnered plenty of comments.

One user said: “It’s like those point and click games where the cursor changes to a hand to interact with something.”

Another said: “He wants sugar cubes…”

Another commented: “It looks like the Google car just ran someone over lmao.”

Another asked: “Isn’t that the thing from Addams family?”

In 2020, Google Maps was used by over one billion people every month.
