Apple iPhone 12 leak may reveal a controversial feature is here to stay

A source recorded footage one of these PVT units in action, and also leaked a tonne of extra details about the iPhone 12 Pro.

The leak revealed that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will allegedly have a LiDAR camera sensor, be capable of capturing 4K footage at 120 frames per second and have a 120Hz refresh-rate display.

So, while the notch will stay reassuringly familiar to iPhone fans, there will be plenty of other changes under the hood of the iPhone 12.

Elsewhere, it has also been claimed that the iPhone 12 will boast a square-edged metal frame reminiscent of the iPhone 4 and come in a wide array of models.

The iPhone 2020 range is expected to be made up of four models in three different display sizes – 5.4inch, 6.7inch and two handsets with 6.1inch screens which, unlike Apple’s current iPhones, will all feature OLED panels.

This year Apple is also expected to release their first-ever 5G handsets.
