Piers Morgan, 55, took to social media after Dermot O’Leary shared that his wedding ring and bag had been stolen. The GMB host blasted the suspect, as he urged followers to call the police immediately if they had any information.
Piers typed to his 7.6 million followers: “How disgusting. If anyone knows the scumbag who did this, please call the police immediately.”
It came after Dermot had posted on Twitter that he had been stolen from while he attended a gym class on Mortimer Street in London.
The X factor host retweeted a post from Metropolitan Police’s Twitter that said: “Do you recognise this man? We wish to speak to him re theft of a bag from a gym in Mortimer Street W1 on 13 Aug.
“Items stolen include a wedding ring etched on inner side with ’14/9/12 Team KO’. Pls call police on 101 ref 6195/21aug with any info about the man or the stolen ring.”(sic)

Celia shared that the couple had woken up on the last day of their holiday to discover the house a mess and instantly knew something was “wrong”.
She discovered that her handbag was “upside-down” and her jewellery box was “empty”.
To Celia’s horror, it felt as though the room had only “recently been vacated” by whoever had ransacked it.
She wrote: “I was the first up, but the air felt different, as though something or someone fast-moving and violent had passed through it.
