Martin Roberts: Homes Under The Hammer host talks tough career move 'It's just a slog'

Following this, he enlisted TV favourite Basil Brush to read the book aloud to encourage kids to engage with the message.

A copy of the video is now, according to Martin, being sent to “every single primary school in the UK” along with a self-help guide.

He said: “I got Basil Brush to read Sadsville, and we recorded it in his bedroom. [I] put together with a little video of the book, we’re actually sending it out to every single primary school in the UK, along with a self-help guide for kids just to make them realise this was a really scary period for everybody.

“It’s ok to feel a bit weird about it all but to really reach out. That’s a big charity project that’s taking place.”
