Kate Middleton: Duchess of Cambridge is still a royal 'in progress' for this reason

Kate Middleton, 38, is the Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, also 38. Prince William is second in line to the British throne and they both have important royal roles.

She told Express.co.uk: “Kate’s fashion after her marriage is still of a royal in progress.”

Over the years, Kate has become known for recycling her favourite looks on various occasions.

In March this year, the mother-of-three dived deep into her closet and re-wore the Reiss ‘Olivia’ cream coat for a trip to Ireland.

She was first spotted wearing the fit and flare coat before joining the Royal Family in 2007.

DON’T MISS

Rewearing looks is something she will regularly do when stepping out.

Melita continued: “Kate isn’t afraid to rewear outfits from prior to getting married.

“Whether married or not if you like an outfit you will wear it more than once, that’s what we all do.”

While her royal style may still be progressing, Kate has managed to form a signature look for herself.

The expert claimed she has picked pieces similar to Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana, since she became a royal.

“Kate’s conservative style is more apparent now than ever before,” Melita commented.

“She also pays her respects in the form of her clothing choices that allow us to remember Princess Diana which is a very honourable thing to do by Kate.”
