Contenders for one of the World Surf League’s most coveted prizes, the XXL Biggest Wave award, have been announced for 2020.

Some of the globe’s most fearless surfers have been recognised for taking on massive waves at infamous locations such as Nazaré and Jaws in pursuit of glory.
