Rafinha has a release clause of €16million (£14.5m) in his contract, which is how much Barcelona are demanding for him, with Celta Vigo having only offered €10m (£9m).

There is much interest in Rafinha, with Italian sides and a Chinese club, believed to be Shanghai Shenhua, said to be monitoring the situation.

A product of Barcelona’s La Masia academy, Rafinha has made 90 senior appearances for the club but has been sent out on loan on three occasions.
