Liverpool ‘make contact with Ismaila Sarr’s agent’ as Premier League champions look to beat Wolves and Crystal Palace to Watford star

Liverpool are among a trio of Premier League clubs interested in Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, according to reports.
Despite Watford’s relegation on the final day of the 2019-20 Premier League season, Sarr impressed for the Hornets – scoring five goals and producing six assists in 28 top-flight matches.

The trio of Premier League clubs have asked over the availability of Watford’s record signing, who moved to Vicarage Road in a £31million deal last summer from Rennes.
But it has been reported that Wolves and Palace would only make a move for the 22-year-old Senegalese winger should their respective prized assets Adama Traore and Wilfried Zaha depart in the summer window.
However, it is not only in the Premier League where Sarr has attracted interest – with clubs in France, Spain and Germany monitoring his situation.
Sarr was one of Watford’s stand-out players in what was a hugely tough Premier League campaign.

And Premier League champions Liverpool were given a real shock from the winger at Vicarage Road in February.
Liverpool, who were looking to go the season unbeaten in the Premier League just like Arsenal’s Invincibles, were defeated 3-0 by Watford at a bouncing Vicarage Road.
Sarr scored two quickfire goals in the second half before Troy Deeney wrapped up an incredible victory for the hosts against the champions-elect.
