Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher, 37, won the show with professional dancer Oti Mabuse, 29, last year. Yesterday, the cast of the show celebrated at their homes after the programme scooped the Best Entertainment Programme award at BAFTA’s 2020 virtual ceremony.
Will, who danced with Janette Manrara on the show before pulling out due to an injury, shared a picture of last year’s original cast on Twitter as he addressed the show’s big win.
Will wrote: “Well done to the class of 2019 @bbcstrictly for winning a #bafta well deserved what a show! And what a team!
“Behind the scenes is just incredible they deserve all the accolades.
“Also well done again to @kelvin_fletcher didn’t make this pic but what a winner.”

Many Strictly fans flocked to the post to comment, with one writing: “From your first dance I knew you were to be Strictly winner 2019. You were just sensational mate.”
A second commented: “Very true a brilliant champion ! But you are all champions for taking part.”
The actor recently said lockdown had come at a right time for him and his wife Eliza and their children after the whirlwind of the show, in which he spent many hours away from home to rehearse.
He told Hello! Magazine: “After an intense four or five months of regular family life being disrupted, to be at the other end of the spectrum, where I’m constantly at home, in a weird way, it couldn’t have come at a better time for me and Liz, and for the kids.
“We look back on the whole Strictly experience fondly, one we experienced as a family together.”
He continued: “We’ve been together for many years and we’re so happy with each other, in our little bubble.”
This year, Strictly will air at a later date and will be a a shorter series than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A spokesperson for the show said in a statement: “The Strictly Come Dancing team are doing everything they can to bring the nation plenty of Strictly magic later this year.
“To ensure we deliver the high standards audiences know and love, and in light of the ongoing considerations around COVID-19, this year’s series of Strictly will have a slightly shorter run than usual.
“The safety of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance to us and further updates will be made in due course.”
