Dressed as The Flash, Sheldon begins to shoot around the apartment aimlessly before coming crashing back down later in the episode.
This is one of the only times Sheldon knowingly drinks caffeine on the show but when he and Raj face a tricky equation in season three instalment ‘The Pirate Solution’, it appears he may have slipped back into his one-off habit.
The moment which appears to open up the hole comes when Sheldon explains he and Raj are going to be “looking for the annihilation spectrum resulting from dark-matter collisions.”
Raj makes a joke about bringing a flashlight for their work, prompting a stern telling off from Sheldon.
